my preflop play is a newish standard im trying out. i've just come off of uber-nit robot style, found that i was bleeding chips, and rarely playing hands agasint the soft players. i'm confident that i play better postflop than the average Stars 100NL player, so i've decided to play a lot of pots with the ones that stand out, when i have position, and when i am dealt non-garbage.
oftentimes, what happens most of the time here is i flop some kinda draw IP, it's checked or bet weakly to me, i play it semi-aggressively, maybe i take it down, maybe i get called, but i have outs so it's okay. seems to be working well.
i dont see how, at a passive table, limping with non-garbage in position of deep and bad players is a bad thing.
i agree that the bet sizing should likely be bigger, and i would have done that had i had 75. however, as it appears, i was worried about 75 and didn't want to pot commit myself.
and fwiw, i play understraights very disgustingly. i know this, it's why i posted the hand. the last few times i've been dealt them i've been against a higher one so im kinda gun shy. had this been the king high flush i wouldn't have folded, i think simply because i haven't been super coolered on those.
here's one i played earlier. absolutely horrible, i think, but keep in mind that i've only recently started playing SCs. went for about a 100k stretch where i never played them.
