With 4 players to act behind him, he expects to get a call from this. I don't think your straight is good here. fold. Easier said than done...
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

At this level, I think villain could have many different hands that we are ahead of, such as poorly played overpair, AT etc... The three players left to act including the BB are all shorties. I don't think villain is looking for a call from hero here. I call to see what villain is all about. If he turns over quads or a boat, so be it. Make a note of it and carry on.

You have to remember that people with huge hands want action. This line that villain took is incompatible with that desire, therefore a hand ahead of you becomes more unlikely. In other words he would simply raise to like $1.50-$2 with a boat here, if not just smooth call again hoping a flush catches up so he can drain it.

I can't get my chips in fast enough in this spot. When someone stacks off like this with great potential for strong hands yet to materialize, usually they don't have a near nut hand.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

    Easy call.

Not worth raising as he could be playing T9s.

Thx for comments I don't feel I made that stupid a mistake now and seeing his T9 hand.

With only $1 in the pot I'm not convinced I should call this, especially as I hadn't seen him play much and had no idea/reads on the player and the number of players he has to push through. Easy to say when he shows the second nuts.

I do like the idea of raising on the flop, clear some stragglers out and make later decisions a lot easier, even if i'm struggling to find how this particular hand would have turned out different, but in general I like the raise becuase there are so many people in the pot and I have so many outs.

The pot is $0.60 before I call on the flop. If I raise it would have to be to $0.50 plus. I think I like $0.80. Anybody think differently? should I just pot it?

Raise preflop or fold. Raise flop. (2 overs, gutshot, flushd)

I like the theory that players that want to "reel in the fish" with the nuts (by slowplaying) aren't betting 10x the pot. However, being microstakes, to assume your opponent has a brain is a laughable error.
