    Default Pokerstars Problem

Have just received this e-mail from PS.

    Dear RandomHero83,

I am afraid that due to a technical error (which has since been rectified), the
cashout of £30.00, you requested from your PokerStars account on 22/02/2007
    21:48 was processed incorrectly.

Instead of this amount, £59.08 was credited to your card, meaning that you
received £29.08 more than the amount due.

You can quite easily check your statements to confirm this.

We therefore need to rectify this situation and would like you to put your
PokerStars account in good standing by making good the over-payment. Please
contact us to make arrangements for this.

If we do not hear back from you we will look into settling this by means of your
PokerStars account balance and notify you accordingly.

Once again, please accept our apologies and thank you for your understanding in
    this matter.

    All the very best,

    PokerStars Payments

Now I was pretty dissapointed to receive this as I thought all their transactions went through correctly.

Would anyone out there kick up a fuss and tell PS that as it was their fault they don't see how they should pay it back?

    This has really annoyed me!!

These things happen, they happen at banks quite a bit too and they recover their money in not too nice a way.

Doesn't matter if PS made the mistake or not, they notified you and you know they did so it's up to if you want to keep money that's not yours or not.

Can put it the other way too, if you cashed out for 59 and they only gave you 30 would you be here pointing out they should keep the money or would you be kicking up a fuss that you wanted them to pay you back?

True... was just a bit annoyed as I'm struggling to get a bankroll together as it is.

Do you think they'll accept FPP's? haha!!

Ask for some FPPs to make up for the hassle .
Just dipping my toes back in.
