lobinladen was 41/12/2.5. No specific reads on villain.
I did a mistake here, I should have bet $6.5 on the flop.
On the turn I thought about what to do. His bet is really weak, it seemed like a float, therefore, I called. On the river I would not bet, if the flush had hit I would have ...
    can you call?
The trouble is that the limp/call then call a c-bet with an Ace on the flop is very often Ax ...

    I prefer checking flop.

    Fold river.

Why did you bet the flop? Are worse hands calling? A flush draw might but flush draws aren't as worrisome in raised pots like this one. Worse pocket pairs aren't calling unless they hit a set. Missed broadways aren't calling. He doesn't have a straight draw. The only hands that will realistically give you any action are hands that crush you. You want a cheap showdown here.

    As played, fold.

Yup, I see the point on checking the flop.
So you still c-bet with Q, J or T on the flop, right?

If the flop was J or Q high you could value bet your kings and hope to be called by worse hands (pairs of jacks or queens or perhaps a draw). On this A high flop if you had say KQ you could c-bet and hope that your villain folds a better hand like say TT. With KK on an A flop you turn your hand into a bluff by betting because the TT folds but the Ax doesn't (probably ) Try to showdown cheap and if he won't let you then fold. (unless he likes to bluff into weakness in which case you might win money from him by calling down).
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc
