Do you pay attention to your opponents or do you use the force to make difficult decisions?

    Hand 1: Heavily read dependent.
    Hand 2: Standard.
    Hand 3: Standard.
Hand 4: I'd love to raise that turn, but I think with money that deep you pretty much have to play it like that.

Fnord, why is a raise on the turn not the ideal play in hand 4? The bet from villain (depending on reads off reads) is rarely a flush ... shouldn't we play for stacks here on the turn?
  4. #4
In hand one, I only have about 150 hands logged with villain. Hes running at 35/14/1.02. I havent seen anything to out of the ordinary since we've played.

    1. The guy doesnt know how to play so ill pay him off. I dont like this, but i cant think of a better way to play. He shows up with QJ?

    2. Nh,

    3. I hceck this flop as its easy to call down and you only improve with a king anyway.

    4. dargsghsghsg. Are we good enough to raise the turn as fnord says. Only problem is he might not chase it down then.

    Hand 1 hes got KK.

That was exactly what I put him on. The hand is heavily read dependent. QJ doesn't play it like that. The push on the river screams that he has TPTK beat. KK-AA actually fit.
  8. #8
You have to fold hand 1 without reads. This screams QJ/KK/AA/55 dying for a call.
    Hand 2 is standard
With half-stacks, I play hand 3 like this most of the time.
    Hand 4 is fine.

    5. is not a fold IMO.
    6. Is a fold, you dont beat anything but AK and he raises 4% of hands. Eugh i think its a spew.
    7. you think he has tp or a draw? Otherwise id stick this in 75% of the time as a rule versus this guy/stack

    Hand1:
I like to 3-bet this on the button.
    Flop is fine
Turn raise sucks. I like a flat call because it's cheap, but a raise is fine if you raise enough. pot is $39 and he has to call $15 more? wtf?
As played fold river without reads.

    Hand 2:
    Preflop good
Flop seems good. I played this exact hand and ran into AA on monday though!

    Hand 3:
Seems fine against short stack. If he has a Q spiking a K on river would be your best bet,

    Hand 4:
    Preflop good
    Pot the flop.
You need some reads for the turn here.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

    Turn: ($10) 8[] (2 players)
Hero bets $7, MP1 raises to $15, Hero folds.
I call and probably check/call most rivers
    Final Pot: $32

no reads really, 16 hands hes 62/36

3 folds, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, Button raises to $9, SB calls $8.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $5.

Against short Lagg I 4bet shove this

    Flop: ($28) 7[], 8[], J[] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets $34.9 (All-In), SB folds, Hero calls $34.90.

    Turn: ($97.80) 8[] (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Flop: ($9) 4[], 3[], K[] (2 players)
SB bets $5, Hero raises to $15, SB calls $10.

    Turn: ($39) 9[] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $24, SB calls $23.40 (All-In).

Not sure I like this because he folds a lot of hands we beat. Checking behind and calling the river may make more when he doesnt have the flush

    River: ($86.40) 2[] (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: $86.40

wait a minute. Which hand has the rock and which has the Lagg? My suggestions are not right if the rock has 3-bet your QQ pre. Thought it was the lagg.

One thing i noticed looking at the HH's is that in many of these hands you aren't raising enough on the flop.
