    Default KQ hand ($50nl)

lines like these always confuse me. It seems a set/draw and the latter all got there. Is this one of those thin value bets?

villain is 56/20/2 over 87 hands.

Bet of check behind, and why?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    Hero ($51.50)
    MP ($23.10)
    CO ($26.10)
    Button ($49.05)
    SB ($65.75)
    BB ($68.35)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, K.
Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, SB calls $1.75, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($4.50) Q, 7, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB raises to $6, Hero calls $3.

    Turn: ($16.50) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $9.5, SB calls $9.50.

    River: ($35.50) J (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero???

    Final Pot: $35.50

Why not check behind the turn? Are you thinking he is so loose you get value from 9x or 7x or quite possibly a lower Q?

i usually take this line when i get c/r'ed on the flop but villain doesnt lead out the turn. Not that common of a situation, but c/r'ing and not leading out is a big sign of weakness IMO. Of course this is exploitable, but its uncommon and most 50nl villains really arent thinking about these things.

I still think those flop minraises on these boards, followed by a turn check, are almost always draws. So I like your turn bet.

I probably play this the same and check behind river because you only beat QT. If the river wasn't a J I'd bet and hopefully get called by a Q.

I'm struggling with these situations when OOP. What's our play then? Call flop, lead turn? Call flop, c/c turn, c/c river?

depends on the villain and overall situation. I take both of these lines, sometimes c/r flop too.

I don't see why c/r flop would be good being the PFR.
Could you elaborate why you do this sometimes?

just to mix it up. If i raise from MP and CO calls, the standard line is c-bet or check. Sometimes its good to c/r to mix up your play.
