Question about pocket pairs in position at 400NL and up

I've noticed as of late that its almost impossible to call an EP raise in position with a low/mid pocket pair hoping to hit a set. The reason why its impossible, is that with seemingly higher frequency someone WILL squeeze you from the blinds. You're essentially forced to either fold your low/mid pair OR 3-bet yourself (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

The reason why I post this, is because I'm wondering if its profitable to then flat call high pairs QQ/KK/AA in position to EP raisers, HOPING to get squeezed by someone in the blinds? Should we be doing this more if we know there is a compulsive squeezer acting after us?

Are people really squeezing that often against EP raisers? Against a CO open/btn call, sure, but against someone opening UTG?

If it's really happening that often then yeah, flat call+ shove pairs (all of them?) and big aces sometimes, 3bet sometimes.

Yah it seems to be happening quite often at 400-500NL, but probably moreso if the initial raiser has a somewhat wide opening range. Though I suppose this fact in itself should warrant me 3-betting all my pairs.

Well if the UTG raiser is loose enough that he gets squeezed often I don't think you can be calling low PPs looking for set value.

I am honestly not squeezed as often as you suggest though.

We can probably call twice sometimes as well (if the opener calls).

Huh. This explains why you 3bet 22 in the hand I just replied to. In the games I play (2/4 & 3/6 at FT) there's a lot of 3-betting, but squeezes aren't so common that I'm 3-betting <88. If someone's really squeezing you that often, go ahead and 4-bet your pp's once in awhile. You have enough equity if called to make it +ev vs. a wide squeezing range.
