Default Top 2 Vs a betting passive.

Villain is 35/7/0.6 over 300 hands.

I figure Im WA/WB here. Am I WB enough to fold or is this a call down after the turn? I call the flop to see wtf is going on with the weak lead + weak raise but I dont think I like my call. If he bets into me again on the turn for a substantial ammount and I dont hit a J do I fold?

I agree. If he's that passive, he isn't raising anything you beat right now and you don't have a ton of outs to improve.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

    Sure you're WA/WB but................

you're way ahead of more hands than you're way behind of and the pot is laying you a nice price on the end. You basically have the 3rd nuts. It's amazing the dumb things these passive players will do when they wake up with TPGK/weak 2pr hands.

spenda. Do you mean on the turn or on the flop? Do you shove the turn?

Fwiw i was going to shove the river if he checked to me.

    I mean turn/river.

Flop is strange, most likely a reverse implied odds spot as it looks like it could cost you a bit to see a showdown and your hand had little chance to improve. Nice turn card and it's puts you ahead of just about everything. Just take the best line to get all the money in sir.

Ok well for the results minded he had A8o but his play really confused me. I guess his weak leads and weak raises were his way of trying to find out where he was, but when I didnt show too much aggression he probably got to the river still not knowing and realised it was a big pot and he didnt have a clue what was going on and eventually called...which is pretty much what i did.

Get it all in on the turn. As played call river. Your ahead here so much its not even funny. I know his low aggression scares you, but i think you would be surprised what random crap i have seen from stupid passives getting aggressive all of a sudden.

A guy playing 35% on 25NL party from the BB does not deserve this respect IMO. I raise the flop and shove over the turn. He calls with Ax because he's a station.

How often does a 35/6 at 25NL on party play a set hard? Not very IMO.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.
