Default What are they trying to do here?

    ******* Hand 1 ********

What's he have? QQ/JJ? I'm just trying to convince myself that I couldn't have gotten any more out of him by playing any other way...

    ******* Hand 2 ********

UTG was 27/24/2.75 over 80 hands. I didn't 3bet PF as I was swinging for his stack in case he had a middle/big PP. I'd seen him float with missed overs before and reraise with board overpairs. I just thought that 3betting from the blinds was turning my hand face up and would discourage him from his usual antics post-flop and I'd get more out of him after the flop if he had KQ or 99 or something this way. I donk the flop and turn this way with 99-JJ, sometimes with a FD.

I guess he didn't have a board overpair and he just had 2 overcards? I'm just trying to make sense of his play here as I seem to be seeing a lot of raises that look 'pot-committing' only to have them fold to an all-in. What's the sense of reraising to $14 and leaving $9 behind if he's just going to fold to an all-in?

H1: I think that there are a lot of things that he could have here. Normally I would think that QcJc, JcTc push, and AcQc, AcJc calls. I also think that he may call with a good K. Probably enough hands that he calls the raise with, that don't beat you here.

H2: What do you expect from a fish?
