    Default 10/20 - AJo in 3bet pot

Villain is a 3/6 and 5/10 regular, taggy stats, wide LP raising range, aggro postflop. Not sure if he usually plays 10/20, it's possible we've chased the same fish up here. We have some history and he's gotten the better of me. He's seen me 3bet oop, cbet and give up before. He might think I'm spewy.

Thought about c/f'ing flop, decided not to. Now I'm wa/wb...

    c/f turn and c/f river

If villain is solid, he is probably not floating you with air here. On the turn he will check behind the hands where you are WA (99-JJ/QJs/KQs), and bet the hands where you are WB (33, 55, AQ).

He might bet a flushdraw, but that's a pretty small part of his range anyway. Another problem is that he might turn 99-JJ into a bluff on the river, but your hand just isn't good enough to fight that here.

i dont like your preflop size at all. you are at the table for a fish apparently so why entice the regular to call preflop (by barely making it 3x his raise) and position rape you.

with history id shove turn because history usually means im getting called, without it i check fold

Huh. Is $250 standard for you here? Less in position?

You can't really argue with gabes logic on the threebet size, yeah it lessens the value of our hand but we're OOP and we probably don't even want to play a good players with something like 87s in Pos in a smaller pot.

I think the most value we're going to get from the hand is shoving the turn, maybe not presently but strategically for sure.

yea, wouldnt you rather not be OOP in a reraised pot with AJ against a good player, esp when you are just there for a fish? id raise more or just call pre
