Since you don't know if he'll shut down on the river if we call the turn bet, I go for the turn check raise.

I don't see any reason to try to get in more chips on the turn just because of a diamond draw. If we hit our diamond on the river, it will only be good for us if we were behind on the turn in the first place. In this hand on the turn, I assume that villain is doing one of three things:

    Bluffing
    Betting strong with weak ace
    Betting strong with big ace

1)If villain is bluffing, lets let villain continue.

    2) If villain is betting with a weak ace, lets let villain continue betting, as we are not worried about 6% equity.

    3) If villain is betting with a bigger ace, we have a drawing hand. So, if we are behind on the turn and need either a diamond that doesn't boat villains kicker, or a ten for a boat, then we are drawing. We can't play this drawing hand strongly because our villain will not fold their AAA with a large kicker.

Although we have flopped trips, playing this hand passively after the big turn bet would be the best line.
