I think its good in isolation, given that villain can fold.

I'd imagine you're trying to rep AQ here, and hoping that even KQ, might fold here?

Though I'm more wondering about the flop and turn. Why not bet the flop? This must be a good flop for you here, where a lot of better hands will fold.

And as for the turn call, what do you do on a blank river (<T)?

He's 20/11, i was threebetting just to isolate/take his raise. It was a bad threebet IMO, but lets just try to ignore that for now.

It's not as much that I can rep AQ or KQ but more so that he rarely, if ever has a Q. AND given his turn bet sizing I'm thinking he likely has AK or AA.

Idk if he's scared money or not, obviously if I had to guess id say he was but mostly because most nit regs are scared money.

What i do on a blank river is i check. It's a half pot bet and i have a double gut, he's not going to fold to a potsize bet if i hit a straight so implied is there.

this seems fine ?? it looks like you have QQ and it doesnt look like he should have Qx

i mean i guess if hes not smart enough to c/r riv with a queen or 8 this is a lot better

I think this is ok, only because if we were villain in this spot and we had KQ, and we were facing an overbet push I'd imagine most ppl would be saying fold still?

Given the fact that we're calling for a split likely and he probably has AQ? no?

what should villain do with a bare Q here?... call the overbet?

probably 15% of regs are capable of checking straight here

Omg people why would anyone in their right mind cbet AQ here versus a tight reg? Same with AT. Yeah I mean pretty much given timing and reads i felt like he rarely has a Q and he's going to put me on a Q 100% of the time.

I agree he probably doesn't have a straight i just think the shove is too excessive. Also i was drunk when i made that post last night... lol.

What's his remaining stack on the river?
