Default $50NL, JJ river bet size

Villain is 29/12 after just 40 hands. I think his range is QQ+, AK after the 3bet pre and I call pre for set value. I call the small cbet, expecting to c/f turn. I'm not sure about the flop call, but it was such a small bet that I couldn't fold my JJ with AK in his range.

Then on the river I want maximum value. I really wanted to shove and probs would have had the flush not completed. A pot bet is very likely to just get called, and I don't know how often he would shove over with AA to a half pot bet. So I dunno...

    bluff his AK/AQ
[Miffed22001] 2:48 pm: obviously better hands are fked trying not to call on river
[Miffed22001] 2:48 pm: deeper and itd be a sick bluff
    [badgers] 2:48 pm: Ding!

[badgers] 2:49 pm: Cos he obv value bets anything that wasn't folding anyway
[Miffed22001] 2:49 pm: lemme fidn a good hand
[badgers] 2:49 pm: may even bet AK
[PokerMuzz] 2:49 pm: i suppose he has to bet most the time on river
[badgers] 2:49 pm: and I stack a flush
[badgers] 2:50 pm: AND if he's a donk he'll still call with AA/KK

pfffft try actually putting him on a range, and when you do consider what he thinks hero has

I'm just maximizing our value against his calling range b/c he's calling a shove with his entire calling range.

C/r'ing works but I think we're overestimating the times he bets with AK/AQs.

hes calling an open shove just as often as he calls a c/r shove

sooo at least we get extra money from ak/aq the few times he bets it

so he's never checking behind QQ-AA?

who would check that through the turn?

i CRAI here. villain played this exactly like AK. your hope is he had AKs and backdoored the flush so he can stack off.
