Hand 1). b/f turn is a good line when you expect your opponent to only raise w/ better hands, and call/fold worse ones. I don't understand the logic behind a river c/r here except for value actually (you need a crzy image in that case). I don't expect villain to fold A-K (gabe did a move a lot like this and the other guy called the c/r AI w/ A-K -- and it was 200BB deep!)

Hand 2). I tend to pitch your hand PF here. Again b/f the turn works well in this game. You are representing a set well but can you count on this player to lay down K-K+? At 25NL i'd want some history.

Hand 3). your hand looks like a draw, and unfortunately that's actually what you have. I like a call on the turn since you can expect Dragnet to felt any two pair (maybe A-K) if you raise.

Hand 1: I would typically c/c all the way here, maybe even find a c/f on the river if villains wasn't fishy...but not with his betsize though. I don't see merit in the river c/r tbh....MAYBE as a bluff if the river was a club.

VI, could you comment on why you think b/f turn is better than c/c?

Hand 2: I like betting turn as well. I really have no idea if this works often enough though...in general I think at 25NL you'll get called too often.

Hand 3: This can't be really bad since you have lots of outs, but the pot is still small so I think you're paying too much relative to how often it will work. I would call the turn, but likely bet the flop...and 2nd barrel turn.

Sooo.. why are you turning strong one pair hands into bloated pot bluffs? Why do you think you need to bluff hand 1 and 2 when you have showdown value? Especially hand 1.

hand 1 - unless you're pushing for value here, I don't mind b/f if he's passive, or c/c if he's aggressive since a lot of draws missed.

hand 2 - c/c flop, and lead turn is fine. Don't bloat this pot OOP with a hand that has showdown value! As played, the push is ok since the flush got there on the turn and he might have a hard time calling..

hand 3 - why not bet this flop? I probably bet this flop and then second barrel when my FD comes in on the turn.

I wouldnt expect to get raised on the turn by a weaker hand, which makes it easier (the costs in terms of blinds are also similar) to figure out where we are rather than check/calling the turn and deciding whether to call/fold on the river. Realistically, i'd expect villain to call a turn bet with the occasional weaker made hand, as well as some flush draws.

However, versus a good aggressive player, you can't really b/f the turn since your turn lead will get raised by drawing hands as well (because a good player will notice that our line does look weak -- stronger lines are c/c c/r AI turn or c/r flop)

btw spenda i think folding preflop in hand 1 is a good option too

i think your plays are too advanced for the players you are playing against.
All your hands have great showdown value and your opponents are incapable of making any sort of fold IMO

    ahhhhhhhhh, forgot to mention

yea, I'm more than certain in each hand I don't have much showdown value.

truth is I'm a pussy and didnt pull of any of these moves, I've been looking for spots to bluff more recently and I wanted to see if the spots I had identified were good ones.

FWIW, throughout each hand I knew I was beat, yet called down and was shown I guess what I would call the bottom of my opponents value-betting ranges, which probably made me think these were better bluffing spots than they may be. Anyways, I'm off to find more spots to "potentially" spew.

At showdown I was shown slightly better hands

    AK in hand 1
    AQ in hand 2
    Called and bricked river

Not at all leg, during the hand is where I felt I wanted to make a play, not afterwards. I'm saying I might be a bit results oriented afterwards b/c they showed up with hands I felt I could make them fold due to the board texture.
