so, given how much he overvalues shit, can he ever have like AA here enough to call? or do we adhere to the logic that big overbets from donks=nuts 95% of the time. I was going to c/r a blank turn here but decided to exercise some pot control given the spade.

I think that even "fold and wait for a better spot" could apply here because hes terrible and we're a bit deep.

I'd 3-bet the flop here, it's drawy as shit

    id fold too.

but why did you bet the river? id check to catch bluffs (Tx..), get a bet from Qx (maybe c/r)...or is he checking behind too many hands he value bets the turn with?

based on his small turn bet, i think he is hardly ever bluffing. He can pretty much have any made hand but its probably one high pair. Therefore i lead solidly for value.

Flop I would put in a 3-bet. If not there I for sure raise him on the turn and maybe fold to a push......

    as played.....I fold the river.

a c/r to a small bet would be awesome if he would bet top pair again...but i get betting - prob better since a J or 9 would call but not bet.

also i bet getting all in on the flop like UG wrote, or c/r the turn is ok too.

i did indeed fold and shortly after took about 160 off him with a flopped flushvs his TP, then about 425 more when i raised qq utg, he minreraised (lol), i called and flop came Qxx and i c/r/4bai and his AA did not catch up. All in all it was a standard fold but it still felt gross for some reason.
