    Default Hand vs. a chaser...

I want a little feedback on this. I've prob. only got about 1K hands under my belt (FYI). The evil villian has been raising with big hands, folding nothing, and calling when he's chasing. Being UTG, this is about as soft of a hand as i'll play... I'm just wondering if i should have changed how i bet this hand to a) get him to fold, or b) save some $. Feedback? (Sorry, i can't get the hand converter to spit this out right...)

First of all, if he´s chasing we don´t want him to fold, we only what to extract the max value we can get of his draw and to lay his draw a bad price so he can´t chase profitable. If he cant fold hearts bet full pot on every street, given his 1/4 stack I doubt we can find a fold anywhere in this hand.

Wrong mental approach. Trying to save money = bad bad bad. You got it in with the best hand and lost. That's poker. In the long run you make money here.

Sorry to sound harsh just trying to make you less results orientated.

look at it this way... since he's paying too much to draw to his flush, you actually win

Thanks... after a few minutes away from this i realized that being a 3:1 fav (that right?) based on where i put him (chasing) i should be happy i got him to throw the whole pile in the middle...

Good choices = $$, but sometimes which makes you think you made a bad choice. Bad choices = but sometimes $$ which leads you to more bad choices.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

    Default Bet size

Another question - was my bet size on the flop the right size to make it -EV for him to stay with the hand?

He made a mistake playing those cards with his stack anyway, anything you do in this hand is a mistake for him to play.

I'd bet more on the flop so we can get it all in on the turn.
My sig is too much for you to handle.
