    Default I'm progressing, 8 bucks up on the session, 2 hands

    Hand 1:
    I played 1 hand against villain where he called a monotone board with 2nd pair, turn checked through and he rivered trips and I c/c 5 bucks. Apart from that pretty unknown after 39 hands.

    Any better way of playing this?
    I can’t call the J river can I?

    1) I call him down

    2) I lead 1/2 pot flop, give up turn.
    Alternate line: k/c flop, lead 1/2 pot turn. But the pf potsize is too big irl stacks

    I wanted to k/r flop here first, but then I saw the potsize and its virtually impossible to do this without getting committed

    I cant find any possible reason to call the turn in hand 2...

    Is it me being rubbish or are both flops played weakly?

    hand 1. Your flop bet gave him 3:1 to call and imo still looks weak and you call $3 on turn. Why not make it $2 on the flop then reevaluate? Makes it easier to fold turn if he leads strong. I think I prefer a call to raising $1.25.

    hand 2. You look weak again. You called down $3.5 before folding which could be used to cbet the flop and rep your range. If they call then you can reassess.

    I agree my flop raise isn't very big on hand 1, but this way I think weaker Q's will stay in. It's not like the beard is very drawy so i don't really see why raising more is better. Calling 0.25 and seems even weaker to me. But please correct me if my thinking is wrong.

    Also can someone help me with a river range for villain?
    This is mine:
    Likely AQ, KQ, QJ, QT,87s
    Possibly 77-TT, 56s, Q8s, T9s
    Both seemed like I should have called, but it's marginal.

    Hand 1: 63.333% 53.33% 10.00% 16 3.00 { AQs, KQs, QTs+, 87s, AQo, KQo, QTo+ }
    Board: 8h 7d Qc 4d Js
    Dead:

    equity win tie pots won pots tied
    Hand 0: 39.655% 34.48% 05.17% 20 3.00 { KdQh }
    Hand 1: 60.345% 55.17% 05.17% 32 3.00 { TT-77, AQs, KQs, QTs+, Q8s, T9s, 87s, 65s, AQo, KQo, QTo+ }

    Hand 2:
    In another thread I had a more or less similar hand. Some people advocated not c-betting the flop. Does it matter this is multiway?
    I think I like betting flop as well.
    Jack Sawyer the c/c, lead turn line I almost never use. It just seems like a weird line to me that can easily be exploited. Any thoughts on that?

    Meeloche thanks for the link. I have read it before, but I feel like I have to study it cause I don't completely get the thoughts behind it and they seem fundaments.
