JTo Hand - You're call.

Default JTo Hand - You're call.

RERAISE5823 is a very aggressive player and looks for chances to stab at pots. This was an instant call for me because in my eyes, a player with the 9 isn't going to bet all in there. This bet looks like a "please fold" bet, hence my insta-call. What do you think?

Uh, this is a tricky one. I play aggresive too and when I make a hand I move all in as well. Only 2 hands I can see you beating here are JQ or KQ suited-clubs. Definatley a very close call, aggresive players are very difficult to read which makes them very dangereous, gotta go with your gut on this one, i think your ahead though.

The thing about the all in raise, it is more likley to get paid off then a check raise which seems suspicous. To have any opinion here I would have to play a couple of hands with this dude.

If my image is pretty lagg on a table, I'll push with a 9 here all day long, and hope that someone thinks their set or two pair is beating my "bluff". But I can also see doing it without the 9 also, so... I'd put this call at around 50/50, gotta go with your gut here, and gambool a little bit.
    Hey knucklehead! Bonk!

Good call. I'd figure him for 50/50 bluffing as well.

Here's a question: if you were RERAISE and had 97 or 98, how would you play the flop?

My line is this: assume I have a read on AllLiving as a competent aggro player who knows about blind wars. From the way we've been playing, he most likely puts us on a range of hands that's pretty huge and we're trying to steal his blind.

I'd lead out just as he did, figure that his range for re-raising our flop bet might be anything from A/K high or a piece of the flop at all, and then push.

This isn't a blind war really, this is shorthanded holdem. Also if I were him with 97 I'd probably pot bet the flop and re-raise ALL in here.

True, but it reminds me a lot of blind wars and heads up play. Agression is key as long as you don't overdo it. Nice call by the way, I don't know if I'd be able to make it in that situation.
