    Default 2/4 against donk

Three orbits at the table; guy is bad but not overly aggressive. He is playing fairly passive and betting a lot of rivers. Don't think he has shown down anything yet (neither have I fwiw).

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB ($730.25)
    Hero ($394)
    UTG ($469)
    MP ($876)
    CO ($400)
    Button ($298.90)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2, 3.
4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: ($8) 3, 5, 6 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8, SB calls $8.

    Turn: ($24) 5 (2 players)
    SB checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($24) K (2 players)
SB bets $32, Hero raises to $100, SB raises to $718.25, Hero folds.

    Final Pot: $224

that is seeeck. i think since its a limped pot you just gotta bite the big one and muck. you have the worst flush on a paired board agaisnt a passive player that is basically making a pot sized shove.
would double barreling here be a bad move?

I don't really like double barreling because a checkraise (donks love turn c-raises) sucks. Would anyone just call the river? I thought a raise was mandatory.

Pretty standard fold in a limped pot. I would bet turn unless I have a read that he loves to c/r turn.

I think not raising here is nitty. Donks might play a 5 like that. But if you raise, you have to fold when he repops. Don't convince yourself to call then. Raise to like 74. That way you get value out of 5 . It seems so weak to just call the river.

I probably would have called with the A high in the moment, but nothing worse for sure.

donks are more afraid of a scary board, more likely he checks a 5 ehre than bets it.
