This guy is a non thinking loose/passive, seems like the only type that might lay down an overpair here. Any other type it's bad, right?

Interesting, G. Are you checking worrying about a trap, or pot control?

ash... you have to check against the good player in hand 2, if he checks it down, oh well, if he bets like $25 we can shove cuz he will call a river bet but not call a c/r AI

Never read any stickies or announcements
i can't imagine folding QJs on the button to a 3-bet if we're facing a light 3-bettor from the blinds.. seems kinda bad to

Why does no-one bet the turn here? Feels like he is letting go. Think i def b/f turn here.

Keep in mind, there are only 3 players. He's got a huge range here but I can overrep my hand by calling, plus we have position.

I'm also surprised some want to check turn.

What exactly do you mean by overrepping your hand?

What do you guys think betting the turn accomplishes?

Normally someone 3betting out of the SB has a tight range, but in this spot I've raised a couple times and 3handed people will 3bet very wide to prevent button from crushing the table. Very, very common if a table falls to 3 or 4 ppl, especially 3. If I call I usually have a pretty strong hand, stronger than I have. I put SB on a reverse steal most of the time here with a wide range, so by calling the 3bet (most of the time the button here folds 3handed) my hand is usually stronger than it is in this spot.

It's a good question. I don't honestly have this well thought out and help is appreciated. I'll throw my thoughts in: if he has AT, JJ, KJ, or AK, diamond draw we're making him pay for the river, or fold. Of course if we're behind, we're badly behind and could use the free card. I think he makes the $21 bet with a lot of his range. I think his range is very wide in this spot, but I could be wrong about this player. I view it as A5+, KJ/KQ, 88+

if u call the 3bet with QJss and a Q or J is top pair u r all in

generally on the flop seems like a good place

By betting the turn we could fold out/charge a lot of hands that are behind but have a fair number of outs (AK/AJ/KJ/XdXd...). And since we would be overrepping our hand (let me know if i get this all wrong) we would know exactly where we stand if we bet here.

As for the free card we are missing out on if we bet here, what river card do we really want to see? a J? not really. a Q? we could still be in trouble.
