    Default Three hands 100NL

    Three interesting hands from yesterday.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 1: Villain is 25/9/1.5 and seems bad. My image is loose but solid. Villain donks flop and turn. Is this a FOLD????

Seat 1: SB ($124.00 in chips)
Seat 3: BB ($247.40 in chips)
Seat 5: UTG ($100.00 in chips)
    Seat 8: HERO [ 4D,5D ] ($101.00 in chips)
    ANTES/BLINDS
SB posts blind ($0.50), BB posts blind ($1).

    PRE-FLOP
UTG folds, HERO bets $3.50, SB folds, BB calls $2.50.

BB bets $5, HERO bets $15, BB calls $10.

    TURN [board cards JD,4S,2D,QC ] (pot $37.50)
    BB bets $28, HERO?

    Villain has $53 left.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 2: Villain is unknown and I sat down just a few hands back. Decided to mix it up and not cbet. Turn play?

Seat 3: CUTOFF ($144.05 in chips)
    Seat 8: HERO [ 7H,AC ] ($103.15 in chips)
Seat 9: SB ($135.20 in chips)
Seat 10: BB ($102.55 in chips)
    ANTES/BLINDS
SB posts blind ($0.50), BB posts blind ($1).

    TURN [board cards 8C,9D,AS,7S ] (pot $7.50)
BB bets $2.50, HERO bets $12, BB bets $45, HERO?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hand 3: Villain is running 31/20/3, seems good. He has raised the button pretty much every time.

hand 1: villain seems bad but his line looks pretty strong. unless you have good FE here (which i dont see) i think you have to fold.

hand 2: easy fold. Sets, straight, better 2 pair make up the majority of his range unless hes a huge donk. without reads though its a fold.

hand 3: i hate these spots. fold>shove>call. Its so hard to fold to such a weak bet, but you have to here. Calling with a turned 3rd pair in a 3bet pot here is bad. If you cant fold, shove, but calling is by far the worst option.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    Hand #1: Yeah, gotta fold.

Hand #2: No one's 3-bet bluffing this turn at 100NL. Classic donk slowplaying and shitting his pants that he's actually getting some action.

Hand #3: I really don't like the 3-bet preflop. I think the turn's a fold. It's such a small bet but you're going to have to c/f the river so much. All you can hope here is he has a draw and I think you'd need better reads to call your stack off with a hand like this.

Did you see me playing yesterday? Did I suck? It felt like I did.

Hand 1: I figured he must have QJ and thought that he will pay me off if I hit, so I called, then hit the flush and stacked my opponent who indeed had QJ. Postplay analysis shows that I was getting 4.3:1 (with implied odds) and I only needed 3.2:1. Seemed like a good call.

Afterwards I started to think that there could have been some QdXd in his range also, leaving me almost dead, but I'm not sure he would have donked the turn with that.

Hand 2: I folded but thought it was pretty close. Probably at this level it really isn't.

Hand 3: River was an obvious shove since I can't fold aces up getting like 3.5:1 against this lag. He had pocket fours (ironically). Nice turn bet and lucky river for him. Gotta fold that turn next time.

I didn't see you Galapogos. I had a very short 5max session before I got bored and moved to HU, where I hit my first one-outer this year when I shoved turn with TT in 3-bet pot and got called by JT on a J234 board, whee.
