    Default 2 hands - 1 standard I hope

Is this first hand standard against someone with a line of 37/20/1.33 (albeit over a very small 40 hand sample)? My plan on the flop was to flat the SB bet and 3bet the button raise (he had raised quite a bit in position), unfortunately he just called which had me somewhat concerned. When the second 6 hit the turn I decided to lead out to rep a 6 or slow played big hand and villian called again.

When the river showed a blank I went for a cheap showdown, but then villian took a stab at the pot. At this point I put him on a smaller pair than the board, Tx, or something like AK or AJ that he was trying to get tricky with and a slight possibility that he had something like Qxs. Because I wasn't thrilled with my kicker I decided to c/r, again repping the 6 or a big hand, hoping that would get him to lay down the possible Q that had me out kicked or maybe even something like QT.

Now kick holes in my thinking for me.

    SB ($33.90)
    Hero ($22.95)
    UTG ($23.50)
    UTG+1 ($24.40)
    MP1 ($34.65)
    MP2 ($36.70)
    MP3 ($32.30)
    CO ($8.55)

Preflop: Hero is BB with :Qd: .
6 folds, Button calls $0.25, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.75) :Qh: :Tc: (3 players)
SB bets $0.3, Hero calls $0.30, Button calls $0.30.

    Turn: ($1.65) (3 players)

Hand 2 - I am totally lost here with two pushes in front of me. With no reads I can't believe I am ahead here enough to make this call (or raise it myself). Do I fold my Aces here?

Hand 1 - I don't think your river raise was large enough to get marginal hands to lay down. I think your hand has showdown value so call. Villian flips KJ a lot here.

Hand 2 - They are so short that I think you have to at least call here. Flush draws and crap like AT will push when short.

Hand 1 - I would just call on the river.

    Hand 2 - Call

ok, don't every try to make someone fold top pair at 25nl, ever, especially when you have such good showdown value. Your thought process on the turn is just terrible "i repped blah blah," you don't have to REP anything, you have top pair ffs.

just check the turn and try to keep the pot small.

#1 Meh. If u want a cheap SD then call, if u want to bluff then lead. Stick with your game plan. Regarding the c/r I´m with AHiltz, calling is fine u won´t fold out Qx.

#2 Shove over, no point in leaving button 1/3 pot behind on turn if he decides to come along. Both shorties could have one pairs/FD´s/QJ, SB shows up w/ JJ a lot.

and top pair is gold at $25NL? Veddy interesting.

Seriously, how big of a hand do you typically need to go from "keep the pot small" mode to "build the pot" mode. I know this is dependent on hand vulnerability, reads on villian, etc., but in this case I felt like my hand was strong enough and that he was weak enough to lead out on the turn and take more of his $$$$. In hindsight I can definitely see why calling behind on the river is the best move, however checking the turn just seems really weak to me.

To be honest I was in the middle of a flopped set hand on another table and didn't even notice button was still in the hand so I flat called.......

......and I am certainly not thrilled with the turn card. What is the best line now? Open push for the rest of his chips or c/c?

You have the nut flush draw and he may have JQ or top pair. Shove the hell out of it. Even if he has a set, you still have lots of outs and he may fold his set.

This is indeed what you want to REP! so that you can get the most value out of your TPMK hand. You want KJ/AJ or any other crap to bluff on your TPMK.

I don't think at 25NL this will ever happen. However, I agree that you need to shove the turn.

That's what I thought so I pushed, he called and below is the result. I only started doubting myself when button typed "Don't bet those Aces" in the chat window. I replied with "the only reason I did was one of them was a diamond" and he replied with "easy money".
