dozer, what was your reason for checking? if this kind of thing happens with any regularity it is a leak.

I figured I was behind most of his 3-bet calling range & already had given up.

I just thought of the multitude of 2pr/set/straight hands that beat me even if I put him on a fairly wide range (66+,QJo+).

In retrospect, I'm probably not that bad against THAT range, but I had him on a tighter range ... a nitter moment of mine.

These situations are rare for me -- It's far from a typical flop for AK.

I probably gave this shorter stack too much credit for the preflop call.

    Then what...push over? Flat & c/c turn?

What range do you give an unknown 3/4 stack flatting a 3-bet on the BU?

Level? No way the average 50nl player bluffs at this flop a lot, too many people slowplay horribly.

I do not recommend checking this flop, just that the only reason to check is to induce bluffs. As played, we should not yet be afraid.
