I consider folding pre.
This many to a flop I don't always bet out, but i like your play, and calling the re-raise is fine. I think you're up against A9 a lot of the time here.

When you have a hand like this, you get soooo much weaker when you miss the turn, I try to find a way to get it in with two cards coming.

About the pre-flop limp: is it really that bad in loose passive games to limp suited aces? I don't think so, but correct me if I'm wrong. Don't understand me wrong though, limping suited aces in EP isn't the standard for me (usually I fold them indeed).

As for the short 3b flop answers: is it really better to 3-bet the flop here? I strongly considered it, but I thought that, with the general weak/passive/tight play (especially in MW pots) it would get my chips in only being way behind to 2-pair+ giving me about 35% equity. The reason I just called: direct odds of 4.75:1, position, not a lot of folding equity against opp's c/minr. range. In this case I also didn't think I would lose value if my draw hits given stacks and pot size on the turn. Let's put it this way: 3b'ing seems like overplaying this hand to me, while call/re-evaluate feels very weak, but maximizes my post flop skill edge over this player (which I like to believe I have, lol).

I folded turn as advised. Most important reason to post this hand was the flop play though. So, to all the 'as played 3b flop'-ers: still 3b flop?

OK let's try and put villain on a range.

The only set villain could have is 99, even that may have squeezed pre but we won't discount it at all for simplicity purposes. As far as 2 pair combos go, it looks a lot like A9/K9 are the only possibilities. This is without considering worse draws etc.

Pokerstove says we have 43% against this which is probably villain's strongest possible range. He could also sometimes have some 1 pair hands such as AQ, combo draws, or even just a flush draw which we absolutely pwn. Get it in on the flop please!

In a very loose passive game wherere you have a huge edge preflop, there are likely to be multiple limpers, and it's unlikely to be raised behind, the limp is ok. It would have to be under these exceptional circumstances for this limp to be ok though.
