I don't see how this hand by itself tells me "his range" except that it includes Ace-small suited once in a while.

you went with your read and you were right, there's no one who can tell you whether this was a good hand or not but your read proved right so on the face of it it looks good.

    Who was villain?

next time he repops you in the blinds i think ill give him a defferent range due to this situation

yea i should have reprased that(gg reading own post after clicking "post" bttn). it gives you information/read not "range".

Spoon, curious what you did/would now think of as his range in this spot? Or did you believe he would do this with almost any 2 to make a stand against you? Against any pair or ATs+ or AK, AQo your about 60% so I guess that means good call. But against say the top 5% of his range your a dog.

4 bet or fold both fine but calling his shove i dont think is +EV for the long run. This guy probably went on tilt in the heat of the moment. Also, i sometimes resteal/4 bet light with SC or any other speculative cards vs these stats with the intention of folding to a shove.

that seems to be a bad idea. in my limited experience they tend to shove over 4bets pretty liberally, especially if you have laggy/semilaggy stats and a high att to steal.

I am also a little curious as to who opp was. I can only think of 1 or 2 people that were 4 or 5 betting at 100NL a few months ago, there may be more of them now.

i won't do that if i have loose aggressive image at the table and high attention to steal%. There are a few times i just flat called, float and took it down in later streets if villian cb, slow down or give up entirely. Another alternative is we might4 bet shove vs these guys if they are known to 5 bet shove light from blinds. SC, small pairs or Ace suited are good candidates in this situation and play well against big broadway cards and big pairs in case they do call our shove.
