QQ Strategy on Dry Rainbow Flop
First of all, I never fold KK pre-flop unless it's so obvious the dude has Aces and I'm forced to put up my stack. With that being said, I will call, but mostly re-raise with QQ. In the past few sessions, I've gotten QQ a lot and a lot of times I've ran into KK or AA. Could be bad luck, could be questionable reads... but we're online here so tells are minimal.
At any rate, when I get QQ, I will typically raise or re-raise and get a caller, but rarely get a re-raise. If I'm facing a 3bet or 4bet pre-flop, or a pre-flop push to my raise, I'm questioning Kings or Aces here, and possibly AK. But, when I just get a call on a board of say 2-5-9 rainbow, why is it every time I c-bet here I'm facing a re-raise for all my chips?
I guess what I'm wanting to discuss here is what do YOU do with QQ when playing against calling stations holding Aces or Kings? I feel I'm playing these types of hands correctly, given the circumstances, but I could be wrong.
Oh, and I play 50NL.
