Default QQ Strategy on Dry Rainbow Flop

First of all, I never fold KK pre-flop unless it's so obvious the dude has Aces and I'm forced to put up my stack. With that being said, I will call, but mostly re-raise with QQ. In the past few sessions, I've gotten QQ a lot and a lot of times I've ran into KK or AA. Could be bad luck, could be questionable reads... but we're online here so tells are minimal.

At any rate, when I get QQ, I will typically raise or re-raise and get a caller, but rarely get a re-raise. If I'm facing a 3bet or 4bet pre-flop, or a pre-flop push to my raise, I'm questioning Kings or Aces here, and possibly AK. But, when I just get a call on a board of say 2-5-9 rainbow, why is it every time I c-bet here I'm facing a re-raise for all my chips?

I guess what I'm wanting to discuss here is what do YOU do with QQ when playing against calling stations holding Aces or Kings? I feel I'm playing these types of hands correctly, given the circumstances, but I could be wrong.

    Oh, and I play 50NL.

if i think villain has a better hand than me preflop, i'm looking for implied odds. if those aren't there - fold.

you're just running into a cooler if this is happening a lot.

I figured as much, but when it happens a lot I begin to question my play. Thing is, my raises are getting called and NEVER re-raised pre-flop lately with QQ. I got stacked once due to a villain hitting a set on the turn, but shit happens. I'm chalking it up to variance because I have been running bad as of late. I'm down about 6 buy-ins over the past few sessions and this QQ crap has been pissing me off. But my roll is still over $3K so I'm cool there. I probably should be playing $100NL, but I value my balls (reference to spoonitnow post ).

its difficult not to stack off with QQ on 222 flop when passive donks just flat call your raise with KK+. There are many times you've got to proceed with cautions after they min 3 bet preflop.

    FR or 6max?

Gotta love the bitches. QQ and JJ are great hands, but they're high variance. You can win big with them, but it's easy to lose half a stack or more.

You would think at 50NL that you wouldn't see much of that but I keep getting surprised.

It's funny because every time I look down in a live game and have JJ, I'm pumped because I always win with it. Online, however, is a whole different story.

In another thread, a player was pushing HARD with Big Slick trying to get the QQ to fold. There are only two hands that have you and only one (A-K) that may fake it. You have to exploit the faker. Re-raise if you can't put him on Kings or Aces.

Probably should use odds... But I have no idea how to figure that stuff out.
