    Default complicated spots

Hand 1: Notice we are the two big stacks, anyways, we were both 3betting light even though this was the first time I 4bet him (the other times I just folded to his 3bets), he was playing 25/23/2.7 over 100 hands... I didn't have too many reads on him though, just that he was a good agressive player... I was planning on checkraise folding to a shove on the flop, but when he checked behind I was like hmm...

This is a complicated spot because when someone minraises me at these stakes it normally means he's got a monster, was check calling the whole way the right way to play it?

I think the AK hand is over-played .
KQs hand is meh. I'd play it the same but not be happy about it.

As for the AQ hand, stop fearing ghey lines like that from loose players. I would make it $2 on the flop and put the rest in pumping my fist all the way. Heck, I might re-raise pre-flop.

    Different stakes, same concept:
    $1/$2 No Limit Holdem
    PokerStars

    CO ($34.00)
    BTN ($179.00)
    SB ($142.30)
    BB ($120.00)

    Pre-flop: ($3, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1
1 fold, Hero raises to $6, 2 folds, SB raises to $10, 1 fold, Hero calls $4

    Flop: ($22, 2 players)
SB bets $16, Hero calls $16

    Turn: ($54, 2 players)
SB bets $20, Hero raises to $60, SB calls $40

    River: ($174, 2 players)
    SB goes all-in $56.30, Hero calls $56.30

    Final Pot: $286.60

Lol Fnord I thought in that hand you posted you called down with K high. I was thinking that was the last thing you should be encouraging people to be doing. Sleep time.

LoL, I don't read souls that well.

Some of what is feeding into this hand is that all my small, loose, openers will eventually cause people to adjust. This is an example of a bad player trying to make an adjustment and making a meh pre-flop play followed by pretty much giving me his money post-flop on the turn + river.

Sure, I'll see QQ+ here sometimes, but I'll also see all sorts of crap. I make the implied odds call not because I'm pretty sure he's strong, but because I also know that once bad players flip the spew switch to stick it to me, they have a very hard time putting on the breaks and will give lots of action reguardless of their hand. I think I'm getting pretty good implied odds on my $4. Also, there is value in not backing down too easily. I'm going to make you put in a lot of money to get me off my hand so that I can get the same action when I'm trapping.

Nicely put. This is probably the most important concept to understand for playing against terrible players.

Hand 1) I think you need to make that turn bet $5, got to make that KJ and A10 pay to see that last card. If he has AQ or QQ there is nothing you can do.

Hand 2) As played but you probably behind AK here alot

Hand 3) Have to raise that river at least I think
