Default Extracting Value from monster hands

My computer crashed last week so all of my PT data was lost... started over today. I only have 130 hands logged for me (I play a single $10NL table)
I started playing this afternoon but got interrupted after only like 80 hands and went out with some friends for the night. Came back, and in only 50 hands, I more than doubled my buy-in (I buy in with $5 because my roll is a little low and I don't want to loose a full $10 buy-in with a bad streak of cards) with these hands:

    FullTiltPoker Game #6724346774: Table Divinity - $0.05/$0.10 - No Limit Hold'em - 23:10:49 ET - 2008/06/06
    Seat 1: Bis 2 Fioute ($4)
    Seat 2: nijiman1 ($4.25)
    Seat 3: 33bjones ($6.70)

    Seat 5: Getty33 ($5.80)
    Seat 6: eyedsofmarch ($3.70)
    Seat 7: mrblonde_zx ($9.05)
    Seat 8: chenard ($11.60)
    Seat 9: L MA FATH ($9.05)
mrblonde_zx posts the small blind of $0.05
chenard posts the big blind of $0.10

nijiman1 shows a pair of Kings

Haha I'm really surprised he called my push with TPMK, but hey, it's $10NL. So yeah since I did get his stack, I don't have a question about this specific hand, but if the villain hadn't been a complete donk, should I have just re-raised him rather than pushing?

I guess I should have re-raised the turn. He got scared with the last club on the river and folded. If this was a different suite I'm sure he would have called. I put him on a pair of queens. No way he would have called the pre-flop raise with Q-5, so 2 pair is out....

And then only 2 hands later I get this beast:

I'm really disappointed by this. I was really hoping to stack him off. I guess I should have eased off a little bit and instead of putting him all-in on the turn, maybe bet $1 or $1.5 so he was committed on the river. I'm guessing this was some donk chasing a straight draw. Maybe KQ. He's willing to pay 50 cents for a straight draw, but when his card doesn't come and I put him all-in, he bails.

So I could have made $6 extra if those 2 people had called. Oh well, it was still an extremely good night for only playing 50 hands. Are my interpretations of these hands close? Next time I'm in these situations, especially the 2nd one, I hope I can extract a little more value and get the villain pot committed gradually before he realizes it so he has no choice but to call.

Practice proper bankroll management. Half stacking only because ur underrolled isnt the solution. Playing a 50BB game requires certain adjustements and you´ll pick up habits that will be costly when you may decide to play full stacked one day. Given that you´re shortrolled you´re scared money anyway and therefore cant play near optimal, my cristal ball says you´ll go busto anyway.

#1 is fine, he has around pot behind and obviously wont fold anyway.

#2 Bet more on flop, build the pot. This flop hits his range for limp-calling okay I suppose and there is a ton of draws out almost all them are paying 3/4 pot at least. Bet more on turn as well.

#3 Same as above, you´re mistake wasn´t to shove on him on the turn, but not buiilding the pot one street before. If you bet $1 on flop, his remaining stack would be like $2.5 and the pot had $3.2 in it, ez game

I don't really think I'm playing scared. I don't feel nervous about loosing a buy-in or anything like that when I sit down. I'm starting college soon so I can't really deposit any more into my account right now and I'm just freaking sick of SnG's and thought I'd give ring games a try.

How do you think I should build up my bankroll to be able to comfortably play $10NL?

take your $100 and play 2NL or 5NL, take shots at 10NL when u reach maybe $225 or better $250. Particularly when you won´t deposit again you want to practice a more convservative BRM, since going busto will be definetly.

Im opedipus bitch, the original balla.
The only bad thing about that is he plays on FTP. I'm not certain, but pretty sure, that the lowest game on FTP is 10nl. If that is in fact the case I suggest playing the $1 or so SNGs till you have a minimum or $200 before playing 10nl again.

Yeah on FTP the lowest limit is $10NL. I tried playing the SnG's, but I really dislike them. I always seem to bubble out or come in 3rd, and 3rd place is not profitable. I could place 3rd in half the SnG's I played and still wouldn't break even. I'm just not good shorthanded. I always seem to pick the wrong spots to steal (like someone in the blinds has a monster). I got fed up with them and liked ring games because you can just sit back and wait for good hands. There's no rush and the blinds will never eat you up.
