    Default Does anyone call this?

Button was 80.77/38.46/5.0 over 56 hands so I wasn't worried about him. BB was 36.11/1.39/0.53 over 72 hands. He seemed pretty passive so this re-raise all-in worried me a bit. Is this usually something like TT or JJ that doesn't really want to see a flop, or should I be worried about AA or KK here?

    Hold'em No Limit ($0.05/$0.10)

    CO: ($17.03)
    Button: ($12.96)
    Hero: ($10.04)
    BB: ($10.04)
    UTG: ($8.26)
    UTG+1: ($7.25)

    Preflop: Hero is SB with A , K .
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.10, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.50, Hero raises to $1.55, BB raises to $10.04 (All-In), 2 folds, Hero folds

Yes I call this 100% of the time at these stakes. The number of times your opponents will stack off here with you as a coinflip, versus the number of times your semi dominated, and overly dominated make this a pretty safe call at 10NL

As long as you consider what's already in the pot. Calling to win more than 1:1 in a situation that evens out to be a coinflip = money in the long run.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

fold and it's not really close
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

    It's at least close.

Despite his low PFR, he's pretty retarded and could be shoving a lot of stuff here.

Could be, but probably isn't. It's at best close, I think. 10NL villains like this one have AK/QQ+, and for every time you find a guy who looks like this at 10NL that does this with JJ, you find at least one other one who doesn't do this with AK, or Queens.

    I fold.

ya i guess i am one for hyperbole

it's not exactly a snap fold

unless this villain is having a brain aneurysm, he isn't shoving AQ, so we're looking to be flipping at best and possibly doing much worse than that since some of our outs can be sucked away by the inital raiser or ppl who folded Ax or Kx in earlier position

I don't think there's enough money in this pot to justify continuing with the hand vs his range

btw sry if you folded and he showed 67s or something lol
