i'm just venting here about these simple hands

hand 1: set of sevens. nothing you can do but felt it.

hand 2: acey deucy of diamonds. you played it fine.

Would anyone else think about flatting his minraise in hand 1 and felting pretty much any turn? Those minraises are generally weak so by raising ip aren't we basically just getting most weaker hands to fold (except maybe draws). In my experience at least it seems people (especially shorter stackers) like to min raise a flop like this with like 88, 99, maybe 78. By flatting his minraise and letting him lead the turn can't we get more value out of hands like that? Idk, maybe just getting it in is the best thing, but usually on a flop like this, with a limp/caller when they want to get it in against you you're getting it in in rough shape.
