    Default Some interesting 2/4 hands.

First time i've played poker in weeks. Unless noted otherwise, my image is 25/20/4 50wwsf minraising tag who 3-bets a lot.

    Renton555:

was empty-tabling, villain seems like a donk (he minreraised previously, then showed down AK) but its been almost no hands. He called the flop very quickly.

Do i raise for value, and whats my plan if shoved on?

no reads, he had tag ish stats over like 20 hands. The fact that its a minraised pot is pretty relevant here, when considering how high the stack pot ratio is and the fact that he didn't checkraise a drawy flop.

whats my plan here? Guy in the middle is a donk. Villain seems like a competent tag, and we've been minorly battling (3-betting each otehr and folding to each others 3-bets) but no big pots other than the next hand, which happened previously to this one (in that hand he folded). FWIW, i checked and he quickly bet like 3/4 pot.

Hand 1: Raise and call shove. He's probably bad enough to shove AQ/KQ and could talk himself into calling AJ and could even some other weird thinking process that makes raise/call best?

Hand 2: I don't get your flop c/r. Maybe because of the board dryness and some flop c/r history you expect to get called by AT- and some underpairs?
What does his flop call mean to you? You seem to be beat at the river often, but should probably call for pot odds....with worse aces checking behind sometimes, isn't pushing turn better?

Hand 3: Opponent dependant this seems to vary from good to bad. Without knowing anything about villain I'm not that crazy about it.

    Hand 4: I would c/c.

    Hand 5: I like...and I'm probably betting river on a non club.

    1. Bet the turn, small river raise (to $90ish) for value, fold to shove.

    2. Never 3betting here? Don't like the c/r for value here. Once you do it, I think you should keep the initiative and bet the turn and river, hoping to get called by AT/A9/Axs. As played I think you're beat on the river.

    3. Fine. Prefer it with a read and against a full stack.

    4. Bet/fold. Bet river if called.

    5. Fold pre. Flop is fine, turn is good.
  4. #4
    1. id raise pot on the river and fold to a raise/shove.

    2. i'd fire the turn and try to get it in on the river.

    3. i like it

    4. im firing this turn with 77s+ and Ax. if called id bet/fold the river with my Ax hands and usually c/f my pairs regardless of the river card. taking a passive turn line would make sense versus someone who bluffs too much/too little on the turn/river when checked to.

    5. make sure to follow up with a river bet. if villain seems like a poor hand reader i'd still bluff the board pairing river cards.

    1. I think that this is a very obvious raise and getting shipped on would be shocking--this must have actually happened for you to post this. I would just bump it up to about 86 generally and fold a shove.

    2. I think that raising this flop is too thin and on the river your hand is not dissimilar to a counterfeited 87 so I would do whatever you would do with that, probably fold.

    3. I think he just has the Q-rag sooted for two pairs that he is repping, but you are deep and your line is strong as fuck...that said I think you are only successful in folding out bluffs as most opponents (probably correctly) will not fold Q3 clubs here.

    4. I would check-fold the turn and value bet any river if it checks through.

    5. I like it; I do this a bunch with success.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
