    I pretty much figured his range didn't include much that i was beating. Is this thinking correct or am I making my range look really weak?

    I think preflop is debatable depending on reads but as played get it in on flop because he is the BB and could have a loooot of stuff he feels is the nuts that we beat.

    shove flop as it is so draw heavy and the range that has us beat is 44 only.

    + there are a lot of bad turn and river cards that:
    a) may slow down our action
    b) slow down villain

    Muzzard nailed it. You are way ahead most of the time on the flop, yet villain is showing interest in getting it in - so accomodate him. Almost nothing good can happen by letting more cards peel off the deck - too many of them either complete his draw or kill your action.

    Raising pre isn't bad either depending on how the table has been playing.
