    Default Nintendo NES Games

I am amassing a huge original nintendo NES collection and looking to buy games that I don't have yet in my collection. Please PM me if you have any and let me know what you have and want for them.

E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll email you a zip file of roms that I have of nearly every English language NES game there was.

It sounds, from his use of the word "collection," like he wants actual physical games. I could be wrong, but I don't get how his comment about the cost of the games online makes sense otherwise.

Not that this really helps you, but one of my good friends in high school collected NES games and equipment (e.g. weird controllers and gadgets that the average person would never know existed). IIRC he had just about every game, minus a dozen or so. I think 700+? My memory is a bit fuzzy. He definitely had multiple copies of some stuff. If you want, I could PM you his name and you could look him up on facebook or something.

yesssssssss, going to play link to the past. thats one of my all time favorite games.

question for everyone. i want to do like a bracket type thing with the 64 top games and do like an ncaa style thing where we vote the better game with each match up. i only want to do it if there are a lot of people interested, as it takes a lot of time to make the bracket.

just beat zelda: link to the past, holler. that game is so fucking sick. i seriously think the best games ever made were for nes, and snes. im more of an snes guy, just cause that came out when i was stepping into my video game phase (age 4), but both are outstanding.

zelda: link to the past is an absolutely fantastic game. it's probably been a year or 2 since i played it, but every time i get the master sword, i get the chills/goosebumps

  42. #42
A v-card with a video out, and a 20 dollar controller convertor (or just PC gamepads) is all you need. If you want a separate box just for that, you can get a pretty cheap v-card for it as long as your not looking to emulate PSX/PS2/Dreamcast+

    NES:

    Zelda (1 and 2)
    RBI Baseball
Bionic Commando (grappling arm instead of jump- zomg)
TMNT 1 (if you can beat this on the console, ie without save game states from emulators, I bow to thee)
    Contra
Gunsmoke - Rapid fire controller FTW

EDIT: Holy fuck I forgot JACKAL - I probably spent more time on this game than most others combined. It has intense replay value for some reason...

    SNES:

Rock 'n Roll racing (probably the single best action game for SNES)
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Download ff5 its super awesome. 4-6 were the best fo sho. (japanese numbering obv)

Most of the best have been mentioned already.

    Skate or Die
    1941
    Ghosts 'n Goblins/Ghouls 'n Ghosts
    Lufia II
Fkin' Street Fighter 2 - Hello?
Star Ocean (kinda rare to most ppl but a big deal to emulator sites)

Get a genesis and Shadowrun, also Phantasy Star 2 & 4, also D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun was cool but had pretty much the gayest ending ever made

My TV has VGA in so I didn't need a TV out card. You can probably get a TV out card for $25-50 though. I don't know how desirable it would be, but I've done a set-up for someone with what I'm pretty sure was this card:

As for the Playstation 2 USB hook-ups, be sure to get one that allows you to connect two (or more) controllers, like this one which is about $16 to where I'm at in North Carolina with shipping:
