1 - minraise is meh... we want to get stacks in and either way if we raise and he can handread we have a set but he can't handread cos he's a donk so raise properly and make it easier to get it in.

    2- soooo many outs!

3 - this minraise is worse cos sometimes you're just going to be giving kh odds to see a turn. Just raise properly, it doesn't affect their play that much and you get more money in the pot.

I know you're a lot better than me daven, but why do you minraise? Especially in hand 3. Make any1 with a big heart actually have to pay to draw to it.

hand 1 200bb deep so i call the extra 8bb.

hand 2 i got it in good against JJ, never mind.

hand 3 yep, you're right. I got very lucky here. I wasn't worried about UTG+1 cos i thought his range is pairs (reg and standard play 22-99, no variation = bot styles), but forgot about players left to act after my first re-raise. The second raise and button has to call 22 into 77 with decent implied - I knew I had got rid of his pot odds, but forgot that I struggle to fold a heart turn and hate a paired board... truth is that my reads were shit and utg+1 had AdKh while button had 22....

i've seen no evidence of this, but my ego loves it anyway. As for the min-raise, yep, sometimes it's appropriate. But.... often it's not

ya, minraises are useless, but no need to fold 77, unless you think he is a very tight player.

I disagree because we're in position 3-way where we're deep with one villain and ~110bb with the other.

I don't hate the minraise in Hand 1 that much, but in hand 3 it's horrrrrible.
