Default Good time for triple ?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($197)
    Hero (Button) ($200)
    SB ($38)
    BB ($40)
    UTG ($178.40)
    UTG+1 ($105.95)
    MP1 ($248)
    MP2 ($477.45)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6, 6
    1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $4, 3 folds, Hero calls $4, 2 folds

    Flop: ($11) 7, 5, 2 (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets $2, Hero raises to $8, UTG+1 calls $6

    Turn: ($27) Q (2 players)
    UTG+1 checks, Hero ?

    UTG is 16/11

I think from that EP his flop b/c and turn check range is mid and slight over pairs with maybe occasionally a flush draw. Therefore I think we can get him to fold a huge percentage. I like betting turn $19ish and then potting river.

why did you want to make moves against these FR short donks?
    6-max aggressive mindset ?

Why did you raise the flop? Do you just auto raise every time someone bets 1/5 pot on any street?

yes they usually fold flop or to a large turn bet

Whenever anyone checks to me on the turn, heads up or 3-way with a decent pot to bite at I usually bet half the pot + 1 (i.e. $7 into a $12 pot). They'll fold more than half the time and the odds are delicious.

He's scared of the Queen here for sure, or just slowplaying you on a super buff overpair.

The trick though is to minimize your losses in these things. Here you've managed to built a pot with nothing. On the flop you should have smooth called and bet the turn or raised the turn against another garbage bet. Now you have to risk $15 whereas you could have taken the same amount of his $ with a $10 bet if you had simply smooth called the flop.

Be aware; if he bets the turn 1/2 pot or more it's for value this time, and if he calls or raises your raise that's also for value. Dude investing money in a pot 3-4 times is almost always strength.
