iPhone Question

    Default iPhone Question

    I want to know if this makes sense.

    Right now im using a normal nokia phone with a rogers plan. i pay about $50. I want to pick up an unlocked 3G iphone off someone. could i just fire in my SIM and use it normally? I don't care much for the data plan, i just want to have a good cell phone with the ipod functionality and some apps to kill time.

    you should be able to use it normally I would think.

    Why don't you just get another phone with an MP3 player? Why does it have to be an iPhone? iPhones freeze and aren't you stuck with the battery that it starts with forever? So when the battery is done, you need to get another phone?

    Blackberry has much better phones. I have the Curve, but I think the Bold is even better. Go check them out yourself.

    Fuck the iPhone, but I do wish my BB had WiFi.

    Blackberry Storm, it comes out in Canada early December (Telus gets it before Rogers). First touch screen Blackberry and it's seriously amazing. With regular touch screen phones, you 'select' something by lifting your finger off the screen. With this phone, you 'select' something by actually pressing the screen like a button. This means that you can run your finger along the screen without being forced to select something when you want to lift your finger off. I got to play with it a couple weeks ago and it's such an awesome phone. I could go on forever about why it's so sexy.

    Uhh that being said, if you're not using email and web browsing, you don't need a Blackberry. Just get a regular phone with an MP3 player.

    Yes, Will has one.

    What sucks about the storm is no GPS and Wifi if that is a big deal to you... You can use it as a modem though .
