21-10 Chiefs for now, but they'll find some way to blow it

I'm going to the Chiefs/Dolphins game next week, we found tickets for like $20 apiece online, ridiculous

    Dear Eric Mangini

When you're up by 4 points with 9 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, the trick to winning is to run the ball. The Drive went Pass incomplete, pass, incomplete, pass batted down, punt. Not the way to win.

As far as I know, you have one of the most prolific running backs in the NFL, please use him.

    Thank you.
    Doug.

    Dear Doug,

I am the fucking MANGENIUS. Do not question me.

    Thanks,

For anyone watching the Texans game this is why we're so tough to love. We've had the ball inside the 10 twice this half and have 3 points to show for it. Our defense is showing up (once again trying to get Rob Bironas paid more next year) but we just cannot close anyone out.

This drive is a prime example, open it w/ a 40 yard pass to Andre (BEAST IMO), then Kevin Walter gets a dumb falsa-start penalty, followed by a bunch of Matt Schaub incompletions and instead of running the clock out we once again have to await a last-second Rob Bironas game-wiinngin FG.

Is Matt Schaub the man or no? Will he ever be? I remember a lot of people had a big-time boner for him back in the day, but I don't hear much about him now...is he just going to be an average QB?

He could be a great QB if he stops getting injured.

secksy win for the Texans, this win really makes me mad about blowing 2 games this year (home vs Indy, @Jacksonville). It'd be nice to at the very least have one of those wins and a playoff sweat for weeks 16/17.

    Now hiring.

Someone to take a crowbar to steve smiths knee.

Opportunity for employment short. Great opportunity for advancement into the state correctional system immediately afterwards.

    Serious inquiries only.

Come on TO one time do it for me bayyyybeee!

Just so we're clear here, I've been in 8 10 or 12 man FF's in the last 6 years. I've been to the superbowl in 5 of them, and I haven't won a championship yet.

This is the closest I've come, ever.

and I need TO to get me 16 points... serious... I'm worse than the goddamn Buffalo Bills.

Haha, sucks to be you then.

Still smiling and celebrating today. What an awesome game. A gigantic victory over the old oilers, putting them into a position where they have to win next week vs the Steelers (go 'rilla go) in order to secure home field advantage. And doing so by stopping the Titans on 4th and 3, then proceeding to run down their throats. Throw in the injury to Albert Haynesworth (and let's face it, of anyone on that team, he fucking deserves it), and you have the makings of an epic game.

Oh, and the only person to run for 100 yards vs. the Tennessee Titans this year? Steve Slaton...TWICE. Bitches, what?

    GOOOOOOOOOO HOUUUUUUUUUSTON!!!!!

this is not surprising because addai was a piece of shit this year and mjd is inconsistent.

i would also like to take the opportunity to point out how useless preseason is for predicting how good a team is going to be. i forget who was arguing with me during preseason that its not useless at all, but anyways, here are some notables:

    Detroit Lions: 4-0
    Jacksonville Jaguars: 3-1
    NY Giants: 2-2
    N.E. Patriots: 0-4
    Baltimore Ravens: 1-3
    Minnesota Vikings: 1-3
    Seattle Seahawks: 3-1

you get the picture. there are several more that are way off.

i officially hate the nfl network for sunday night football. if i see that gillette shampoo commercial one more time ( and i will since i'll be watching the panthers/giants game) my head will asplode.

also, </3 titans and <3 panthers. titans will rebound next week because steelers are due for negative variance
