I don't see AQ betting full pot for value here...

in ur accounts... confiscating ur funz
That's exactly what I thought. At first I was like... wtf, I'm not thrilled, but why is this a thread?
But you're right. I wouldn't expect him to bet AQ that enthusiastically on the river... and that kind of kills your equity.

I don't know how much he could be bluffing here - and with what hand, but I don't think it's substential.

raise less preflop, I like the flop cbet, turn check, and I'd call river against all but the nittiest

raise less pre? I've been having mixed signals of whether I should be going 3x/3.5x/4x their raise when 3-betting preflop. what do you suggest and why?

    3x IP, 3.5x / 4x OOP?

without extra dead money I make it 3x or 3x+1bb

out of position 4x-1bb or 4x

I'm still abit drunk but i got some criticism.

You have played 275 hands with this guy. You should know what hands he calls your 3bet with, what hands he 4bet with. What cards he floats the flop OOP. What cards he donks the flop. How active have you been with your 3bets?

I don't know how to quickly find out what history I've had with an opponent quickly in HEM... still learning to use the program effectively.

this is a call when we luckbox the river with a gutter and get 2-1 and our hand looks like it didn't like the Q turn/looking for pot control. I might fold if the timing is really janky in the hand.

Probably has the goods a lot, but not enough considering pot odds

ZWIFT: do you really have all these reads after 275 hands? you remember what cards he floats oop? how many tables are you playing? 275 hands seems like a tough sample to make decisions about what cards someone is floating on flops

Notes are good. Also, have up the active players window whenever you play, so you can quickly check PF cards, big hands, etc.

In the batter's box. Already 0-1 count....
NLD, simply move on and crush him later. Winning players lay winning hands to CRUSH their opponents later with the NUTZ. End of Story

I agree on the sick laydown. Don't think I could of made it. Only scared of the boat, can u put him on QJ here or maybe AK also for the chop? U drew to it and hit it, so why fold? I played to hit the 10 so when it hits how do you fold to it?

I'm new to these forums as I don't play NLH online very often, but I do enjoy the hand advice that you guys present here.

I'm a pretty winning player at 1/2 live, so I'll put in my 2 cents.

Against a player that seems pretty tight (I'm not used to the HUD stats, but 17% pre is pretty tight yes?), I think there are realistically only 4, maybe 5 hands that play out this way. The hand that I am most afraid of with this line is JJ, as it would make sense given the line that he's taken here. QQ is a remote possibility, but extremely unlikely obviously. AK could potentially have played out this way, and if villan had a sick read on you then he may have put you on AK and called the flop with 1010. I'm reluctant to think that villan would take this line with AQ, but it is possible. I don't think any other hands make sense given the 3 bet call preflop. Either way, in my view you are losing to 3/5, chopping one and beating one, so it's a good laydown imo.

Anyway, tell me what you guys think about my take on this situation, as I would like to start getting into playing online.

fold. Aq is not as likely to play it that way as QQ/JJ/1010(quite unlikely but possible) and your equity against the range is marginal.
If you planned to "suck out" you did the first half.
