Villain is Jim Mcmanus the writer and FT red pro although hes playing 100NL and I think he's a slightly losing player.

I've made a few moves postflop which he may have noticed but have not tangled with him yet or showed down any bluffs.

Turn overshove is weird, seems like a set or JJ but obv not optimal by him if so.

I am sure this has gotta be a fold but I wanna call here. Just fold right?

he probably knows that you´re almost never calling a shove after calling the flop c/r

does he? A set doesn't have any particular need to 3bet the flop, since the only real draw is QJ and maybe 87.

If you really want a showdown check behind the flop and maybe call a turn bet and see where it goes. As it played, you could easily call a turn bet if you had not been C/R'd on the flop.

Until you get to a stake where bluff raising flops is Std, I would fold most flop raises. You have very little strength or any real redraw. This is why raising sets on the flop is far superior to the turn raise. Your calling off a stack with a hope and a prayer, suited!

Yes you are probably right although I think he does this with A10,K10, pps and overs quite a bit if he thinks I am cbetting my whole range on this flop. Turn obv changes things. Just a weird hand.

Flop check here is too results oriented imo. We have several streets of value in our hand, so I'd just bet here until given a reason otherwise.

As played, folding to the flop raise seems fine.

As played, sucks but you gotta fold turn.
