Default .5/1 - straight, monotone frop, facing resistance

The villian runs 33/20 and I have a note on him that says "donk/calls TP2K". Ive been spewing a bit, dout that he pays attention that much. I think flop and turn are equally interesting or maybe flop is just a super easy 3bet.

Pretty standard flop 3bet, as played shove turn?

I don't really get your line/question...are you that afraid of the flush? Or do you want to induce? (imo our hand is too vulnerable to do so)

    call, lets see a river.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

    Let's put villain on ranges:
    1) TPMK/bluffs
    2) TPTK/2pairs+
    3) flush
    4) Ksx

The question should be to raise or call turn.
    1) is the least likely, with this hand (and the reads) he would donk bet/call. However, if he has this and we call turn he will not put much more money in the pot on a 4th spade river but he might call a 1/2 bet on a non-spade. Best: call and bet on a non-spade river.
    2) we've going to get the money in if we raise turn or if river is a non-spade. Best: raise turn.
    3) We're dead but we have such a good hand vs a donk that we have to go with it. Best: doesn't matter.
    4) Best: we have to charge Ksx by raising turn.

Flop: With the following ranges, I would be tempted to 3bet flop.
Flop call is OK though if we don't think he can call with 1) and 4).

    Conclusion, I would raise turn.

I think you have to try and get it in as quick as possible here. You don't really wanna see a spade or any broadway cuz they kill the action or give him a better hand.

If yer gunna see a turn you've gotta try & stick it in on a safe one, but I prefer a 3bet on the flop where most of his c/ring range feels better.

I like to call the flop to see a safe turn also for the reason that all non flush hands are going to feel more comfortable getting money in on the turn however none will feel that way on the flop.

It used to be the other way around that you would want to try to stick as much money in the pot as possible on the flop using the logic that "you are never too far behind anything but a flush", and as people would be playing any hand containing the Ks very fast.

This isn't the case at all anymore, people don't get it in on these flops w/out sets or flushes, most people don't even get in sets anymore.

I like your flop call, gotta put a raise in on the turn though I think.

Well, we have some incomplete information on our reads. When stacking off vs. donks, I think we can be a little black and white, obviously factoring board texture, but thinking of 2 main scenarios:

    - Donk will aggressively put money into pot with marginal hands. It can be as PF aggressor, or trying to steal the pot from you in terrible spots with bad equity.

    - Donk will passively call off weak hands with poor equity vs. your range & betting pattern

Some donks will do one or the other, or do both. I think based on reads he prolly has a flush since he's been calling it off light... but since we're BvB it is a tough fold. I like seeing a river to see what he does, and I hate the spot and probably call off any non 4 flush river and feel stupid if he shows a flush in my face.

But I am visiting my sister in Ohio and have had a few beers, so take that for what it is worth
