    Default Afraid of Monsters

Maybe its just me but all of a sudden I notice myself worried that I am beat by the nuts every hand, especially in cash games. Not that this is the worst problem in the world, It saves me money on the few times that I am correct but I feel that I am losing money with K high flushs and middle straights.

What bjaust said. You are not alone around low stakes. I'm constantly amazed by what people check behind or flat call bets with on the river. I can't remember having seen a c/r or b/3-bet bluff on the river like ever... maybe at 200NL+, but generally nobody does it. If you get raised, you're usually beat there... so I don't see what the problem with bet/folding is... you're definitely loosing a lot of value if you just call down with the top of your range.

Also the old brm blah... if loosing a couple of buy-ins is hard for you to handle emotionally, then move down or learn to deal with it somehow. Playing scared will cost you.

just bet if you think you'll get called by worse or fold out better.
