    Default Some stupid spots today

    $0.5/$1 Deep No Limit Holdem

    Stacks:
    UTG ($346.70)
    UTG+1 ($60.00)
    MP1 ($72.55)
    MP2 ($52.00)
    MP3 ($85.00)
    CO ($93.25)
    Hero (BTN) ($100.00)
    SB ($136.00)
    BB ($116.35)

    Pre-flop: ($1.50, 9 players) Hero is BTN
    4 folds, MP3 raises to $2, CO raises to $8, Hero raises to $25, 2 folds, MP3 calls $23, CO calls $17

    Flop: ($76.50, 3 players)
MP3 checks, CO checks, Hero ($75)?

    MP3 was about 40/10
Cutoff has 3-bet MP raises from HJ-Btn before - for some reason I don't see the stats now in replayer, but at the time I was pretty sure it could be something like 77+, AQs+, AKo - he also was 40/something overall.
Both pretty much snap call, so I don't really expect KK, AA, or even QQ there. It's more like pretty much CO's 3-bet range.
It's a bit of a dilemma... can I trust those guys to fold 99-JJ(QQ) and shovel or do I check behind, hope to hit something and fold to their 1/3psb on the turn - because I know it's coming

Here I should just c/f river I guess... He had a high pfr, so I was thinking just maybe he could be raising the turn with Ax... I don't know if I can find a fold on the turn.
River is more block bet than anything. I don't want to get pushed out of the hand by a small pair turned into a bluff.

    CO ($101.35)
    BTN ($24.00)
    SB ($108.70)
    Hero (BB) ($117.35)

    Pre-flop: ($1.50, 8 players) Hero is BB
    1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $3.50, 5 folds, Hero calls $2.50

    Flop: ($7.50, 2 players)
    Hero checks, UTG+1 checks

    Turn: ($7.50, 2 players)
Hero bets $4, UTG+1 raises to $19.50, Hero calls $15.50

    River: ($46.50, 2 players)
    Hero bets $23, UTG+1 goes all-in $96.05, Hero folds

    Final Pot: $92.50

    UTG+1 wins $162.55 ( won +$43.50 )
    Hero lost -$46

SB has high steal % after a couple of orbits... I guess PF is standard.

    SB ($93.00)
    Hero (BB) ($105.35)

    Pre-flop: ($1.50, 9 players) Hero is BB
MP3 says "what a joke", 7 folds, SB raises to $3, Hero raises to $9, SB calls $6

    Flop: ($18, 2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero calls $12

    Turn: ($42, 2 players)
    SB bets $42

This spot is gay-er than Richard Simmons on a unicorn. And again I'm a victim of the insta-pot bet - but I don't have a read on his bet sizing.
Maybe I'm really overthinking this, but really I couldn't be calling this with most of my range which would make this a really good bluff... just how much is that really a bluff as opposed to a good hand that is too scared of the flushdraw to make a proper value bet?

Hand 1: What the fck at preflop from villains? Obviously dealing with donkey mcdonkerson and his retarded cousin! You have decent equity with a couple of good backdoor draws and pair draws, check it through and and spike the Kd. Given preflop im not sure these clowns would fold 77 to a shove.

Hand 2: My standard is to c/c reasonable bets on the river here. That might be one of my spewy leaks though since I never believe anyone. I think 87% of the poker population (disregarding higher limits where everyones is either balancing or leveling) would c-bet flush draws, most KQ's, and 2 pair on this kind of action flop, so his value range is pretty fuckn thin which in turn makes his bluff range wider. As played, unlesss you know he's a weird donk spaz, snap fold that shit.

Hand 3: Preflop, I flat since we have a lot of postflop value here and a little thing called position. But I'll leave my postflop analysis out of this one, since anything I would do is probably bad poker and shouldnt be practiced by anyone, myself included.

Hand 1: I think all better hands call you with SPR (sorry spenda but I think here its relevant) as it is. I also think the fact that the pot is multiway protects the pot from a bluff somewhat if one or both of them happen to have worse overcards. Check behind and suckout imo.

Hand 2: I fold this preflop OOP and with no reads. As played, its such a weird line for him to take, which I think makes it likely to be quite a polarised range. Its a shit scary bored for anyone to bluff at, and the best value hand you beat is A9, so the river looks like a fold.

Hand 3: I really dont know where we're at here. Im going to come back to it. My feeling is we are going to have to fold due to reverse implied odds, but who knows.

edit: I couldnt find this again for ages. In my experience those small cbets followed by large turn bets are one of 3 things.

    1) He has a nut hand that wanted to extract a bit of extra value or get raised on the flop.
    2) He had a weak hand or a draw, but the turn made him a nut hand.
    3) He has air and is in "oh shit please fold" mode.

Oh shit please fold mode means he is fairly likely to bet the river with air when he has it, but even so we need to be ahead a lot here to call down 2 bets. If we will call a pot sized river bet and check down otherwise, and if he will bet the river with every nut hand and 1/3 of his air hands, then we need to be ahead 50% of the time already to profitably call down. In reality, lots of river cards probably scare him into not betting when he has nothing, or make him a hand that beats us which he bets, e.g. hearts, a straight card, maybe a K, and we dont have any real evidence that he is capable of having air here anyway. I think its a clear fold, but it would be nice to hear from some regs at those stakes.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
