Default KJs 200nl, Opp takes c/r line on drawy board

Opp seems like a good regular 25/20/36%/300 hands. 6%3bet, steals alot. Nothing much particularly crazy in his stats over tiny sample. Ive no history im aware of of floating him on flops.

BB in this hand is like 54/29 which is why i like me call pre, the rest are super nits.

What range do you put him on here? KJs is prob in the top of my range here right.

    Stacks:
    UTG ($333.35)
    Hero (CO) ($211.25)
    BTN ($228.50)
    SB ($257.05)
    BB ($292.30)

    Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is CO
UTG raises to $7, Hero calls $7, 3 folds

    Flop: ($17, 2 players)
UTG bets $12, Hero calls $12

    Turn: ($41, 2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $28, UTG raises to $102, $74 to Hero ($164.25)?

his range in regards to made hands is aj+, the rest of his range consists of combo draws like kqds, 910ds etc, played fine now fold.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Folding seems pretty fine here. I agree his range is probably the NFD, some combos draws and overpairs, and AJ.

Yeah, gotta fold here w/out history although I sure don't want him to know I'll fold KJ here.
I wonder about checking back vs UTG(6max-not 5 handed), but that unbalances our range pretty good, huh?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Fold you're crushed. I prefer checking back turn if you dont' think you have 2 streets left and firing every river. Dependent on his double barrel frequency.

FD's are such small part of his range to protect against and our hand can't take any heat so i think this is an easy check behind. fold as played.

So is everyone checking back turn here and just calling a river bet. Could this be a spot where opp will continue so little with hands we beat that we can get a brt from on river?

If we don't bet turn then we will have a totally unbalanced turn betting range right? So we shud delay betting floats till river vs good opp? Of course most opp won't notice anyway but it's interesting.

As played how often are pol really cring monsters here, I know myself I've cr'd pol here with gutshots and draws when they bet turn since Herod line and range is so weak. I think we shud add some of them bluffs in too since opp seems decent. Pol aren't really c/r'ing pairs here since they won't be very happy stacking off on turns. So it's either sets , big combos or air.

I think I've covered mybthought process, so I shoved allin here figuring a draw is most likely the largest % of his range. He had KQdd.

I didn't read that, but based on that information I would be playing my hand against UTG VERY VERY passively.

Meaning, I would not bet the turn and I'd likely just call most turn bets and fold to big ones on some turns..... PARTICULARLY since UTG bet into you and the fish on the flop signifying he has a hand he likes. I think a lot of you guys on these forums underestimate how much money you really lose when you end up playing any kind of decent sized pot vs a UTG or UTG+1 opener after flatting hands like KQ/KJ. I did a specific search on this stuff in my database and realized I was leaking an extra 3500$ or something ridiculous by calling too much in these spots. The UTG opener just has JQ/KT type hands in his range so rarely and never puts in more than 2 bets over 3 streets with them, so it makes it that the only time you're ever actually getting action is when you're outkicked or up against a set or overpair. HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE leak for me-- I assume it is for you guys as well.

If I want to continue in this hand its because BB wants to put more money in against me, not UTG.
