    Default Odd turn bet 50nl

I posted this in my op thread and wanted to get some more opinions on the turn play:
    Hand 7)
    V is 17/9/4/67, CO is just a limping/calling mess.
    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    SB ($65.90)
    BB ($41.30)
    UTG ($51)
    MP ($28.30)
    Hero (Button) ($59.95)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, J
1 fold, MP calls $0.50, Hero bets $2.25, 1 fold, BB calls $1.75, 1 fold

    Flop: ($5.25) J, 7, J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4

    Turn: ($13.25) 5 (2 players)
BB bets $6.50, Hero raises $13

I timed down a little bit before raising. I felt like this raise commited him and looked a little bit more bluffy than a shove given the weird line he took.

On second thought, should I just call to let some weaker hands play? How much action am I really getting from weaker hands when I raise here?
    Check out my self-deprecation here!

I'd call the turn instead of raising because you probably have the best hand.

Although you can be in trouble if he has pocket 5's or 7's, which I doubt, but still is an option.

So call the turn, then put a pot sized bet or shove the river.

Does this reasoning make sense to you?

The argument for calling instead of raising is because calling underrepresents your hand and avoids the big reverse implied odds associated with raising.

For some reason people do this as a bluff a lot, and the rest of the time they have some kind of small PP. That I've seen anyway.
Just dipping my toes back in.

I would usually flat the turn, you're in position and you can still get it in on the river. Let him bluff the river or bet commit himself with something he thinks he's value betting.

I like calling turn. Calling a 3betshove here makes you feel pretty bad. Calling leaves villains range wide and you'll likely get value from a large part of that range on the river. You raise isn't getting that much value imo.
