    Default Seize the opportunity

    I have been playing online poker for about 4 months...i am a break even player at best.......my goal is to become a 200 nl player within 2 years and make my living from online poker....i have learned great things from these forums and will hopefully continue to benefit from the many successful players who post here....i will deposit $50 and play 2nl till i hit $150 and follow spoonitnow's bankroll guidelines....i look forward to seeing all of you at 200 nl soon .....cheers

    I havent posted since the initial post i made....i was dealing with some family issues and have not been able to play much....i deposited $50 on Cake 2 weeks ago and proceeded to lose 24 dollars because of loose undisciplined play.....i decided to work on my discipline and have built my bankroll from $26 to $117.16 in the last 4 days playing .02/.04 on Cake Poker

    I have a good grasp of poker concepts but i have failed to follow bankroll management in the past....I belong to Grinderschool, Stoxpoker and Deuces Cracked training sites.....Originally i set my goal to be playing 200nl in two years but I am revising it to JANUARY 1 ,2010......I have been inspired by posters such as Nibbles and Dranger and others ,following their operations and have decided to dedicate myself to attaining my goals and post at least twice a week on this great forum.....CHEERS

    Hi All.....finished the weekend at $136.28....blew some buyins because of some brain farts...felt i am getting a handle on this limit and hope to move up soon...cheers

    i recommend following spoon's other advice - that you should study loads as well as playing a bunch of hands. Doing a search on Spoonitnow posts in the beginners circle is a good start!

    Default update

    Just an update....life got busy and i haven't had time to concentrate on poker...as of July 1 my bankroll was at a puny $32.....i had a good 3 or 4 days playing .02\.04 on Cake poker.......my BR now stands at $142.85........i have finally learned to hit the fold button. Value betting better and folding more is responsible for the BR increase the past 4 days as well as good cards....My goal for July is to increase my bankroll and watch and absorb come poker videos on Grinderschool and DC,,,,,,,HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING GREAT SUCCESS AT THE TABLES.....CHEERS

    Just an update here......the past week went decent.....i pissed away a few buyins .....played solid poker most of the time.....but played like a donk at times too so i need to gain consistency....i find 6 max very swongy but i must be playing a higher variance style

    BR LAST WEEK: $142.35

    BR THIS WEEK:$186.76

    Just trying to stay within my bankroll and play consistent poker....cheers

    I moved up to 10 nl today....I'm on a bit of a heater,,,,BR now stands at $240.44 so i think i'm gonna watch a poker video and not push my luck.....hope .10\.20 isn't too far away.....going to play that when my BR hit $400 if it does.lol..........cheers
