    Default 2 hands - 1.20$ SNG at pokerstars - 2 flopped sets

This first hand is the first in a 1.20 SNG and so i had no reads, but generally i always tend to shut down when there are 3 flush cards or there could easily be a straight.

Is it bad to fold a set here? I guess the first mistake was just calling the flop bet instead of raising? (in the end he was bluffing and flashed an A5o)

WIth the next one i should have raised on the flop again but when the 10 on the turn hit i raised to try to see if he had the straight. I checked behind the river becuase i thought he may have tried to slowplay a jack and check raise the river.

Basically i could i have some advice on playing sets on tricky boards, like if i should just muck them or raise more?

Hand 1 - Sorry to shout but RAISE THE FLOP FOR PEAT'S SAKE! You have a drawy board and two opps in the pot - don't let them have a cheap card! I would raise it BIG TIME to like 400 or so. As played, I would almost never fold in this spot, there are plenty of hands that they could have that you beat. I'd shove over on the turn - even if they do have the flush you have 10 outs on the river to boat/quad up.

Hand 2 - As per Hand 1, you want to be raising the flop since the board is quite drawy (although not as bad as in Hand 1). I'd make it 250 to go then if opp bets again on the turn you can shove without it being too much of an overbet. As played, your turn raise is only slightly more than min, I would make it 500 to go so you can shove the turn. As you played it, definitely value bet the river for 500 or so and call a shove. Why check behind on the river? If opp had the straight or something else you beat wouldn't he be betting here?

I agree with tai, im raising the flop for sure. Especially in hand 1 with 2 opponents.
