Default 200NL: JJ turns the nuts.

Villain is 19/15 7% 3b. He's been known to spazz out in 3b pots before with a fairly wide range, but we haven't tangled this session yet.

    $1/$2 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG le barabas ($239.50)
    UTG+1 WheyMore ($168.40)
    CO Marshall28 ($215.70)
    BTN funkeemonkee ($220.10)
    SB NUKE TILT ($219.35)
    BB Hero ($213.70)

    Pre-flop: ($3, 6 players) Hero is BB
    2 folds, Marshall28 raises to $6, 1 fold, NUKE TILT raises to $20, Hero calls $18, Marshall28 calls $14

    Flop: ($60, 3 players)
NUKE TILT bets $30, Hero calls $30, Marshall28 folds

    Turn: ($120, 2 players)
    NUKE TILT checks, Hero ($163.70)?

I'm having trouble with his range here. What does he 1/2 pot the flop into 2, then check the turn with? A pair less than TT? Just bet small enough to give him illusion of FE & pray he shoves or what?

I probably bet the turn small. He wouldn't check the turn with a good spade so you don't want to check behind and let another roll off on the river and lose a call from a stubborn PP. And if he has complete air on the turn hope your small bet awakens his inner spazz.

bet something small. shoving or betting big is the worst option. We want any of his high spades to continue and spike, but probably he just has air and is folding

Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

let's be honest, when he checks the turn he's giving up like 95% of the time

I also disagree that betting small in this scenario (where we cold-called a 3bet PF and flatted the flop w/ a player to act behind us) is going to cause him to spazz out.

no, but we do want him to c/c with AxQs or AxKs etc.. 8s8x

sure you can check too but thats no fun

id prolly bet even smaller tho, 30-35$ or so

no he isnt spazzing out a lot, and is folding turn a lot, but the hands he is folding on the turn to a bet aren't likely to pick much on the river to pay us off. However we can get a lot more out of any hand he has with a spade and sometimes I see people slow down here with QQ+, so that i expect to see a small amount.

if he does have a high spade, he will call a small turn bet and if he spikes he is calling an even bigger river bet than if we had checked behind. its definitely a bet

If he's "giving up," checking behind doesn't do much anyways. I'd bet because I have jacks full and he might have a hand.

Don't know why anybody hasn't berated preflop yet. I don't like preflop. Cold 4 bet and get it in cause you can get it in vs worse or fold imo.

As played he is c/f a ton but still bet something small and shove river.

    just bet small

    preflop seems fine

You guys apparently all don't know Nuke Tilt very well, LOL.

Cold 4bet here is like SUPER SUPER ++++EV. Just make it like 45. He'll flat it or spaz out often.

I almost considered making a move on this flop, I had 88, if we were all 150bb deep I definitely would have.

If you are gonna bet small on this turn, I'd make it something retarded like 1/6th pot, 20 bucks. Though I'd prefer to just check it behind against nuke. I wouldn't waste my time trying to put him on a range, he's c-betting every hand he 3bet with, the stack sizes are more important than what you're actually holding in this spot. I think he will fold to almost any bet here unless he has a high spade.

He doesn't have hands like 66-99 when he 3bets here, and if he has TT or higher hes never checking turn.
