Default ITT you help me find a good gift(s) for my wife

I need help FTR! I suck picking out gifts for birthdays/anniversaries, so i figured i would enlist the help of the braintrust that is the FTR commune. There are 3 important days in July i need to account for. My wifes birthday (30th) is 7/25, our 5th anniversary is 7/31, and our first child (boy) is due on 7/20.

The one thing i know i'm going to get so far is a spa package for her to use some time after she has the baby, but other than that, use your imaginations!

    Thanks in advance.

    commission a painting?

just the first thing that came to mind. There's probably an awesome present if you can find the right artist and subject material. Dunno.

For the 5th anniversary give her a traditional gift. The 5th is wood.

A good combo would be a new jewelry box made of wood for the anniversary and a jewelry piece for giving birth to your first child.

If your wife has a sense of humor, playing on the theme of the 5th anniversary, make a big wooden box and giver her your dick in a box.

rilla: good idea, dont know if i left myself enough time though.

    will: sorry

ltrain: jewelery is always a good idea. Something with her (and the baby's) birthstone might be good, along with a nice jewelery box.

spenda: won't be able to put that to use for ~6 weeks after the baby's born so it's probably not in the cards.

spend the money on dinner/other stuff you can do together and if that doesn't amount to the same $$ as a gift(s) put the extra in a college fund. fun memories > gifts imo.

i think accidentally showing her that you just bought extenze for the wood anniversary would be hilarious. Then you take her to an actual dinner or some other more traditional way to lavish and please your wife.

I would deffo go for a mothers ring, or well, family ring. Basically a ring with her, yours, and the kids birthstone on it.

And well the classic red roses are always a good idea.

have you thought of getting a mistress pregnant so that your wife doesnt have to endure all the unfortunate bits of carrying a child? I think she'll appreciate it.

I'm not sure you're getting good advice here, dude. People that have kids are stuck in the house for a good long time. So, naturally, get her a Dyson vacuum. Except not that. Something else that won't get your ass kicked but is useful for a homebody. You'll know what that is, I'm sure.

The spa is a good idea. Maybe if she cooks usually and you suck at it, sign up for a catering service a few times a week or something.

For me, I'll want an Xbox. Keep that in mind, people.

With the new baby on the way, be sure you DON"t get her something that she has to be active, out of the house, or well rested to enjoy... as she will be NONE of those things for a couple of months. Clothes are out, she will not stay the same size for a while, jewelry... well... it is nice but kinda cliche.

Show her you know something serious about her, pick your brain for some deep dark secret that she has only told you, and get something meaningful for it.

Like a duffel bag for her dildo collection.

Seriously though, we don't know her, so you have to put in the thought... mother/child jewelry is good, and don't forget... if the baby is born before her birthday... you have to buy mom a present from the baby ALSO!

Congrats on the soon to be baby dude.

How about a padded rocking chair & footstool for her & the baby?
