Default Plan with draw IP in 3bet pot?

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($137.20)
    UTG ($203)
    MP ($200)
    CO ($101.05)
    Hero (Button) ($292)
    SB ($622.65)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 10, 9
UTG bets $6, 2 folds, Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, UTG calls $14

    Flop: ($43) 6, 9, 8 (2 players)

    Options...

    Hero cbets, calls a jam
Hero checks behind because UTG range is smacked here and we have a fairly hidden hand
Hero cbets, gets flatted.... jam turn every time?

    vs a pretty std TAG 20/15 5% 3bet

I'd make it 18 pre, why more than 3x?

I'd check back here and call all turns, re-eval rivers.

Really sucks to bet and get c/r, and we might get c/r a fair bit vs an utg range.

I don't like the 3bet pre unless you have good reads on his play or know you can outplay him postflop. 20/15 TAG is prob. only folding 2/3 of his UTG opening range here and you are risking $20 to win $9.
I think you have cut his range down substantially, but everything he has now crushes your TP. I chk bk and play it like Griff unless you have more reads on your image or his that dictate non-std play.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I don't get why we are 3-betting pre.

As played, I agree with Griffey.

Unless opp is giving you infinite credit you really shouldnt 3bet an UTG raise with T9s pre. Not sure if this is the case or not.

I think its somewhat margina but i bet/bet/bet (chances he's not going to c/c the flop though) is better than check behind the flop.

If you bet and get c/r are you going with it? I feel like in this kind of spot, if you bet and he folds you had the best hand and he prob had only 6 outs, and if you get c/r you're getting blown off your insider and BDFD.

Wouldn't be surprised if ppl flat hands like JJ/QQ OOP pre sometimes, and c/r when they get a non A/K high flop.

The only value in the bet I see is to run a multi-street bluff and get him off a marginal hand that is better than ours.

I've been playing some "educational" sessions where I've been running about 12% 3bet, basically anything that looks playable in a polar 3bet range with a ton of air. very fun, though sooo many tough spots. Educational indeed. Pretty amazing that many players, even regs, will just fold on the typical K or A scare cards if you size it right, even though my 3bet is running insanely high. not a lot of adjustment at the 200nl

If I cbet here I'd have to go for like $38 so I can just shove the turn. I feel like if you size it for bet/bet/bet and the draws brick out, he's much more likely to call you down with like tt/jj than if I size it for 2 bets
