Set in 3bet pot extraction

This looks like a really easy spot but I ended up going for a slightly unorthodox line so I think it's worth posting.

Villain is running at 18/16 over 400hands, I've tangled a little with him including him 3bet/folding preflop (LP battle so different obv)

I think preflop is standard. Flop, is a raise better here? On the turn, I was really torn between betting $40, betting $80 ish or checking with the intention of overbet jamming the river. AK will pay me off anyway, but I just want to maximise value vs. QQ/KK here (which I think this is a lot since AK is probably betting here..)

the downside of calling the flop when it's two-tone like this is that you run into problems when the flush card comes and it looks like you hit... i like betting the turn small. Checking turn behind and getting it in on the river is sexy, but i think you'll make more money by betting the turn $32.

calling flop is fine raising flop might be a little better

i'd make smallish raise on the flop and induce his shove :P

i really don't like calling flop here--you have to raise small or just jam, depends on the opponent.

jamming seems silly but that's why its great, especially when he bets half pot

imo we need to know something about his squeezing range.

if he has a tight range on flop and cb's 100% then i very much like a call on flop since it keeps our perceived range the widest and he has options to barrel turn cards. some turn cards will hit his range nicely and he will stack off.
